Progress: The Demolition of a Dubai Landmark
This video features the demolition of the Metropolitan Hotel Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai which started April 2012. Al Habtoor Group’s Metropolitan Hotel closed its doors after 33 years of operation to make way for what it claims will be the biggest hotel complex in the UAE which will include 3 hotels with over 1,600 rooms and suites and will cost AED 4.875 Billion (USD$ 1.33Billion) on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE.
The Project Director Martyn Wild talks about the demolition.
