Finally! While there are always media reports and condemnation of the abuse inflicted upon domestic servants in the Arab world, the governments of these women have remained silent, repatriating them after their terrible ordeals at the most.
This works both ways; laws need to be enacted and enforced by Arab governments to protect guest workers and their rights but the mostly Asian countries that export their workers need to actively protect their citizens abroad and stop seeing them as a source of hard currency.
